Iran Travertine is Persian travertine from the Mahallat and Azarshahr quarries, prized among stone buyers for being noticeably denser and less porous than most travertine on the market. That density is why it appears so often on large exterior facade packages.

The family spans cool silver-grey, clean white, classic beige and deep walnut brown. Pore structure is tighter than Turkish or Italian travertine, which means fewer voids to fill and a cleaner honed surface. Banding is generally regular and predictable – a practical advantage when large areas must read as one continuous surface.
