Ming Green Marble is the soft-spoken counterpart to Verde Alpi – a pale, gentle sage-to-mint green with fine darker veining, quarried in China and used in Western interiors for well over a century.
Soft Green and the Quiet Bathroom
The green trend divided into two registers: deep jewel greens and soft, calming pastels. Ming Green owns the pastel end, and its resurgence has been driven almost entirely by bathroom design – the pale green subway tile and green marble vanity have become a defining look in renovation media and social platforms through 2026.
Appearance & Finish Options
A soft pale green to light sage ground with fine darker green and grey veining in a delicate, close-scale pattern. Colour is gentle and cool without being clinical. Honed gives a chalky, matte, vintage-tile quality; polished lifts the green and adds a soft sheen. Consistency across slabs is good for a coloured marble.
Best Applications
- Bathroom walls, floors, vanity tops and shower linings
- Mosaic, herringbone and small-format tile work
- Kitchen splashbacks and shelf tops
- Feature niches, borders and decorative detailing
Slab Sizes, Finishes & Fabrication
Supplied as slabs in 18 mm and 20 mm and widely produced as cut-to-size tiles and mosaics in standard formats. Honed or polished. As a calcitic marble it etches with acid – seal before use and clean with pH-neutral products, especially in bathrooms where cosmetics can mark the surface.
