Super White Quarzite is the stone that made quartzite mainstream: a bright white ground crossed by soft grey wisps and cloud-like movement, backed by a Mohs hardness that outperforms marble by a wide margin.
The Marble Look That Survives a Kitchen
NKBA survey data now puts quartzite ahead of granite in new countertop specification, and Super White is the single biggest reason. Buyers want the Carrara aesthetic but will not accept etched rings from a lemon or a wine glass. Super White delivers that visual language in a silica-based stone that resists acid etching and scratching, which is why searches for “quartzite countertops” and “natural quartz alternative” have climbed steadily through 2026.
Appearance & Finish Options
A cool bright white to very pale grey ground with soft, diffuse grey veining and occasional gentle taupe drift. Movement is painterly rather than sharp – closer to Carrara than Calacatta. Note that Super White is a commercial trade name covering material ranging from true quartzite to dolomitic marble; we supply and can document genuine quartzite blocks on request.
Best Applications
- Kitchen countertops, waterfall islands and full-height splashbacks
- Bathroom vanity tops and shower surrounds
- Bookmatched feature walls and fireplace surrounds
- Commercial bar tops and reception desks
Slab Sizes, Finishes & Fabrication
Available in 20 mm and 30 mm slabs, with jumbo formats for waterfall islands and seamless runs. Polished, honed or leathered. Quartzite is hard and abrasive to cut – specify diamond tooling and allow additional fabrication time. Sealing is recommended for porous lots.
