Monet Blanc Quarzite is named for the impressionist quality of its figure – soft grey and blue-grey passages washing across a white ground with no hard edges, closer to watercolour on paper than to conventional stone veining.
Quiet Luxury in Countertop Stone
Alongside the bold-veining trend runs its opposite: quiet luxury, where the material signals quality through restraint. Monet Blanc has become a leading quartzite in that category. It gives a kitchen the depth and authenticity of natural stone without the visual noise of heavy veining, which suits open-plan interiors where the countertop must coexist with cabinetry, timber and art.
Appearance & Finish Options
A soft white to pale ivory ground with diffuse grey, dove and faint blue-grey movement. Transitions are gradual and cloudy. Honed, it becomes exceptionally calm and paper-like; polished, the blue undertones lift and the depth increases. Slab-to-slab consistency is better than most exotic quartzites, which helps on multi-slab kitchens.
Best Applications
- Kitchen countertops and islands in quiet, open-plan schemes
- Bathroom vanity tops and bath surrounds
- Full-height splashbacks and low-contrast feature walls
- Office reception counters and boardroom tables
Slab Sizes, Finishes & Fabrication
Available in 20 mm and 30 mm slabs. Honed is the most-specified finish for this material; polished and leathered are also produced. Standard quartzite fabrication applies – diamond tooling, extra machining time, sealing recommended after installation.
