Blue Explosion Quarzite is named for exactly what it looks like: blue and white mineral movement radiating outward across the slab in an energetic, explosive figure. It is one of the boldest natural stones we carry.
Maximum-Impact Stone for a Single Focal Point
The prevailing luxury interior strategy is restraint everywhere except one deliberate moment. Blue Explosion is built for that moment. Demand for high-drama exotic quartzite has grown as designers concentrate material budgets into one bookmatched wall, one island, one bar front – and let the rest of the scheme stay quiet.
Appearance & Finish Options
Vivid blue, steel and near-navy mineral bands radiate through a white and pale grey matrix, often with sharp directional energy and occasional amber or rust accents. Pattern scale is very large and strongly directional. Bookmatched, the radiating figure mirrors into a symmetrical burst.
Best Applications
- Bookmatched feature walls and lobby installations
- Statement bar fronts and nightclub or lounge millwork
- Dramatic kitchen islands with waterfall returns
- Backlit panels where translucent zones allow
Slab Sizes, Finishes & Fabrication
Supplied in 20 mm and 30 mm with sequential bookmatched sets. Polished for maximum saturation and contrast. Because the figure is directional and block-specific, slab selection and layout drawings should be agreed before cutting – we supply full slab photography for approval.
